Checkers, is the only thing I can play in the free version? Still looking for a good chess app.

Its not a bad little game, but they charge you for every little thing. I would rather pay 10 and have the items and no freaking adds then be nickeled and dimmed for every silly thing. Also, theres no forfeit button for when you know youve lost the game? And you can start a another game.... For another 99 cents that is. So, there are better chess games out there that would annoy you as much.

Its a beautiful game but even if you buy everything they still put a cheap banner ad at the bottom of the screen.

This is an enjoyable way to learn chess.

Im sure the developers know where are the bugs and hopefully take it into consideration of fixing it in order to improve the game. Overall it is a well design graphic chess game.

Seriously, this is the biggest come on disappointment of all time. This is just as disappointing as my 8th grade year when I got my 8th grade science teacher and almost Reading and Social Studies Home Room teacher. All the nice pictures you see you must pay for! Just charge us $5.99 or $8.99 for the whole entire nice game. Not only that but it crashed like crazy until a reboot took place. And it is very slow.

Not bad so far. Ive only played a few games. Relaxing music. Some board/piece selections make it hard to see what pieces are on the board. Wish there was a better zoom function.

The app is all right, but there are a lot of other apps that look and play better. Im not thrilled with its 3D board, and the default "checkers" pieces are not ideal on a small screen. Overall, plays a game close to the app that comes with the Mac OS. Its not a great chess engine.

Seems to be a good program. Fun to play. Like the ambiance. Nice graphics.

Its hard to play chess when you have ads popping up at the bottom of your screen! I hope I can get my money back for this app!!

Best free chess game out there!

Pure chess is one of the most stunning apps on the net it offers a variety of chess pieces and different challenges for the Chess enthusiast . I highly recommend this to any Chess player and also would love it even more with more chess pieces!!

Best looking chess game on the app store. Tutorial is very helpful and the difficulties allow even total beginners to have fun. I noticed a few reviews are saying they still had ads after buying the full game. I did not get any ads once I bought the full game AND restarted the app. The ads will stick around until you manually clear the game from running in your background.

This game freezes up all the time,I purchased the full package and have to re buy the whole again every time it freezes

High quality app but the pop up ads and banners remain even after full purchase. Shouldnt these disappear?

The computer cheats! Even when you undo the move, it still makes the same cheat over and over again! Of course it does this now after ive paid for All the boards!! This is a great Looking game but You guys need to fix this crap!
